What’s This Course About?

Your child is about to become a Junior Tooth Detective! In this exciting, story-based science adventure, students help a classmate named Nina, who’s feeling anxious about her first wiggly tooth. Through investigation, reflection, and real-world challenges, your child will explore why baby teeth fall out, how adult teeth grow in, and how to care for their smile.

The course is designed by Passion Discovery Institute (PDI) and developed under the mentorship of Dr. Ira Rubin, a leading pediatrician and founder of the Mini Medical School in Naperville. His guidance ensures that this course is medically sound, age-appropriate, and joyful for young learners.

What’s Included?

As part of this module, each family will receive a special Tooth Detective Educational Kit containing:

  • A child-safe mirror and floss for exploring the mouth
  • A brushing tracker chart and healthy habit journal
  • Booklet with Worksheets
  • Badge
  • Emotion Cards

This kit supports hands-on learning and helps extend science into your home — making oral health fun, practical, and meaningful.
